Yep, there is a huge learning curve when it comes to trying to sell art. I haven't sold anything yet- the competition on etsy is fierce- but I'm just getting started. Thanks for all the sweet and encouraging comments on my work. It really keeps me going!
Another one for the boys!

Cool! I really like both this one and the cars. They will look so cute in Porter's room (if that's where you're going to put them)! I would think that the wider variety of styles you have on etsy, the better chance you would have of selling something.
ReplyDeleteTractors! You can't go wrong with that!
ReplyDeleteDon't give up with Etsy. It is hard to stand out, but once you get a good base, you'll do fine. Did you join any of the Etsy teams? They'll help give you more exposure.
Take it easy

Nice work, I like your style. I have been eyeing a vintage mustang on my street to paint, love the portrait of Porter.
ReplyDeleteBit late with my comment, but I saw this in the youmightalsobeinterested block below today's post.
ReplyDeleteHow about printing it on fabric? I've read about custom printed fabric from Spoonflower. This is so cute, it could be made into some fun boy's clothing, or a little backpack or something. Love your work.
