Ok, so using old bottles as vases is not a new idea, but I think my Alliums look amazing in the soda pop bottles I saved from last Christmas.
These flowers were a happy surprise that popped up in my back yard this year. They didn't come up last year when we first bought this house, so I had no idea they were there. Sweet! I wish that would happen more often :)
So pretty! My allium didn't bloom last year either. It was too dry for them I think
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers. You should paint them! They do look nice in the bottles. I was amused by the term soda pop. We call it soda on the east coast. I was visiting Chicago recently and asked for soda at a party. The man at the bar grinned, and made a polite comment about the "pop." I think the bubbly beverage has a different name everywhere. (Likewise, hoagies vs subs, which totally baffled one store employee when my dh ordered by the wrong name.) But we all say "beautiful!"
