My latest watercolor illustrations........
I started out with the Chevron design in mind, but by the time I finished that, I had several other ideas. So I kept painting..... and painting :) I think the fact that it's summer time had a huge influence on these. I can't keep myself away from bright colors!
So pretty!!

Annalea,
ReplyDeleteI like to use Strathmore watercolor paper, the 300 or 400 series. It's good paper and pretty afforable. I've never actually used watercolor pencils, but they sound fun. Best of luck to you!
I do love the chevron one as well.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely designs. I am a quilter so these really speak to me. Inspiring!

ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous! The colours you have used are just incredible together. I've not worked with water colours either. I'd really like to know what kind you would recommend.

Thank you for all your kind comments! For those of you who asked about what kind of watercolors I use, I use Utrecht and Winsor&Newton brands. You can find them at craft stores like Michaels. Good luck my friends!
