While I'm still in denial that summer is in fact ending, I'm loving the cooler temps and the fall colors that are starting to appear in the mountains. It puts me in the mood for some warm fall colors........
These watercolors are pretty much perfect for what I'm feeling right now...... still a little stuck on summer, not quite ready to give up the long days and beautiful flowers, but tired of the heat. I'm so not ready to bust out the Halloween Decor yet, even though it's been out in stores for weeks. I hate rushing the seasons. Let's just enjoy what we have at the moment! Who's with me?!
I'm definitely with you not rushing the seasons! That's one of my biggest pet peeves. I did get out some fall decor today, but it is officially fall now. :) No Halloween until October though!
ReplyDeletenormally I'm sad so let go of summer but that's usually because we never get much of one in England. This year was pretty good so Im looking forward to fall much more. Beautiful watercolours girl x

ReplyDeleteI love the colors. These are so pretty. I am inspired to try my hand at watercolor some more. I have some, I tried it out, but I think I just lack the confidence to do to much with it! Any tips???lol
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for summer to be over yet either. Love your art. Such pretty colors in the feathers.
ReplyDeleteYour fall-ish paintings are so pretty. I love the soft colors you chose. I'd be honored if you linked this up to our All Things Thursday Blog Hop going on right now and/or our It's Fall Y'all Link Party live each Saturday for 6 weeks. Hope to see you and your lovely paintings there!

I can say i agree 100% .. I have taken my mind off of looking forward & dreading the cold of Winter complaints etc! Were a great sunny 20 degrees daily for Fall in canada this year! I & the kids are sure to lap it up, enjoying each moment as it lasts! These colors pattern & post is lovely. Thank you, Jeanine ;D
