New Watercolor Paintings

watercolor birds, ferris wheel, and chipmunk: growcreative

Hello there!

Yes, I am still here!   I'm still painting like a mad woman, but I'm finding it hard to find time to post all of my work here.  So enjoy a quick look at what I've been painting this winter:

A couple of these have sold already (yea!) but the rest are still available in my SHOP.

  4. Beautiful! I'm curious, did you take painting classes or are you just naturally so talented?

    1. Thanks Jackie! I am flattered. I do have a natural interest in art (and I think a little talent too) which has made me practice and work really hard at it. I was an art major in college and always felt like I was the furthest behind, but I loved art so I kept on pushing to be better. I think your amount of interest in something is what really spurs talent on. When you are really interested in something you stick with it through the ups and downs until you get better and better. I'm lucky that I have so much time right now to work on this talent. Not many women my age do!
