Photos of the Week

This week, I'm dedicating my post to the flowers growing in my neighborhood.  They deserve their own post.  They make me so happy- especially these poppies I pass on the way to the school everyday.  I have to plant these in my yard next year!

And I didn't forget the wildflowers!  They are a gift too.

  1. It's so nice that you get to walk past such pretty flowers every day! I love poppies. Those look like they came straight out of the scene with all the poppies in the Wizard of Oz!

  2. Oooh, those poppies are pretty! I don't see them much up here. Maybe they need drier weather?

  4. I see a garden, blazing red with poppies! Cast those seeds generously!
The poppy so full of meaning.,,from the language of flowers it says pleasure, or consolation. But by the end of the war to end all wars, it came to mean Remembrance.
