Studio Scenes

Hi there! How did half of January pass me by already?

I've been in the thick of painting, scanning, and editing my watercolor paintings in photoshop.  There is so much to learn about digitizing artwork and I've come a long way.  I have so many projects in the works and deadlines fast approaching, but I wanted to post a few small scenes from my many projects.

This is me, just painting for myself.  I don't do that enough! I got on a kick with brightly colored watercolor cactus and it evolved into something abstract and fun.  I'll be posting more about my abstract cactus paintings later on.

Here are some lovely pink geraniums- this was just one little experiment, but is still on my list of themes to develop later on.

This is a close-up of the flowers atop on of my watercolor teepee illustrations.  P.S. This one is still in my shop!

I've gone a bit crazy with the hearts. These are just a couple of the many hearts I've painted over the last week. I just love painting them!

And this painting is an old one, but I've been working on updating my Shop with better photography!
